For the release of the Avengers Movie: Age of Ultron, Samsung and Marvel’s partnership provided 72andSunny a unique opportunity to bring fans into the Marvel universe through immersive storytelling and Samsung’s technology.

This was an integrated campaign in every sense of the word. We read scripts, got to know the fans, activated at ComicCon, created not just a commercial, but film-quality VR content.

Strategically this was an amazing project and opportunity. Deep dives into the Marvel universe proved that Marvel fans might be the most engaged and loyal fans around. Through our work, we wanted to make sure that the relationship between Marvel and Samsung went beyond a standard sponsorship with licensing deals or product integration to a true, authentic partnership that brought fans of innovative technology together with fans of the Avengers, and Samsung's VR headset seemed like the perfect way to do this.
