SAGE Media
SAGE Media is a pre-launch startup formulated on a simple hypothesis: The News is Broken, and the cause is giant news organizations who sell panic and fear. They leave out the context, the education, the reason. They have forgotten why the news is critically important to democracy.
In partnership with award-winning journalist, Jessica Yellin, I am involved in everything from to day-to-day content creation, writing and editing to market positioning and long-term channel planning.
Some examples of our content:
Feature 1
“This year a record 102 women are serving in the US House of Reps. That number grows to 106, if you include delegates from American Samoa, DC, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. At the State of the Union address this week, dozens (all Democrats) showed up wearing white. Why?”⠀
On days where media coverage seems repetitive and unproductive, we look for ways to give more information.
